Curriculum Overview
VCA Virtual delivers a dynamic, Christ-centered academic experience grounded in classical education and enriched by expanded course access through Wisconsin Virtual School (WVS).
Our approach combines three pillars: accredited instruction through Great Hearts Online (K–5), specialized VCA-powered courses developed by our faculty, and a wide array of flexible electives through Wisconsin Virtual School. This structure allows students to benefit from the richness of classical formation while accessing a full range of academic and career-oriented pathways.
Core Classical Instruction (Grades K–5)
VCA Virtual begins with a strong foundation in the liberal arts, delivered through our partnership with Great Hearts Online. Students in grades K–5 receive daily teacher-led instruction in literature, history, math, science, and language arts—all rooted in classical texts and Christian virtue. This curriculum is fully accredited through Cognia and reflects a consistent commitment to beauty, truth, and depth.
Middle & High School Courses
As VCA Virtual expands to include grades 6–12, students will gain access to a growing selection of classical and college-preparatory courses. All middle and high school coursework is aligned to graduation standards and delivered in partnership with accredited platforms.

Through WVS, students may explore career pathways and specialized electives while remaining grounded in a classical Christian worldview. Our academic counselors ensure every student’s schedule supports long-term goals while preserving time for spiritual, physical, and artistic growth.
